Ancient Byzantine Iconography Courses with Rev. Nivikita Andrejev at The Christian Heritage Centre at Stonyhurst
For 2026, we are offering two separate residential courses at our beautiful facility on the Stonyhurst estate in Lancashire: a course for novices to the Prosopon technique, running from 14th to 20th July, and a course for students with experience of this technique, with two separate options from 12th and 14th October respectively.
Both courses guide the student through writing an icon using the liquid egg tempera technique, accompanying this with prayer and theological discussion.
Set in beautiful surroundings and with a light-filled and spacious venue, this immersion into an ancient form of prayer is a unique opportunity to refresh and recreate your soul in prayer and a warm community environment.
