As a member of the BAI you will receive a quarterly Review. Our Review is published for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and is usually at least 40 pages in length. It has interesting articles and useful information for both established iconographers and for those just starting out. UK members will have a printed copy of the Review posted to them, while overseas members can opt to either have the printed Review posted or an e-mailed version.
If you would like to join the BAI, please send an e-mail to the Membership Secretary at membership@bai.org.uk. To contact the Review editor, please e-mail: editor@bai.org.uk

Ann Braithwaite
Dear Friends,
At this time of Winter, we are looking forward to Spring, which we sense is not too far away. There are signs of Aconites and Snowdrops to encourage us as they show the ‘life force’; the Creator at work. May we invite our Creator into all that we do.
For motivation, a date for your diary – the BAI is holding an Exhibition in Autumn 2023 from 28th September to 1st October. This will be in a different part of the country, in Liverpool, as we have BAI Members all around the UK (and in other countries). So perhaps you may have an exhibit or be able to complete one ready for this exhibition. Further details will soon be on the website.
Details of all dated events are now being kept on the website. So please go to the website for information about Exhibitions, Courses, Workshops, Visits.
Do let me know of topics that you would like to see in the Review. I will do my best to source the appropriate information. We have a wide range of experience within the many (and growing number) of BAI members and we have many knowledgeable contacts. What inspires you? What helps you? What do you need?
Wishing you a Holy Lent and fulfilling times with your Icons.
With my prayers
Ann (Editor of BAI Review – Volunteer)
