I recently taught an online drawing course for icon painters at the Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts (PFSTA)  for four Mondays  (17th January - 7th February 2022)

I taught an in person icon course at the PFSTA  7th March to  11th March.   We painted Archangel Michael . There will be a further course in September (5th September to 9th September) .   Please  check the Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts website as I teach there regularly once a term.   The PFSTA also has pages on LinkedIn.

I also gave a six day workshop at Worth Abbey in July  (25th to 31st July) . The icons were blessed in the Abbey on Sunday July 31st  (the course finishes on Saturday).   The Worth Abbey painting week is either with full board and single room or just the course and lunch if you live nearby and want to go home.  We will paint an image of Christ. www.worthabbey.net

A course is also planned at Flores del Camino (on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela) in Spain in November (5th to  to 13th).  In Flores del Camino we will paint the icon of Mary Magdalene. The accommodation is in single room and full board.  Also, in Flores del Camino we have a very unusual and exciting first day as we go to the mountainside on the Camino to collect some yellow and red ochre and we will grind it and prepare it ready for our icon painting!

There was a course on Traditional Pysanky Easter egg wax-resist painting at Southwark Cathedral on 26th March . In Caterham, Surrey, I hold courses in my studio (at the moment on Saturdays). I also each occasionally  at my holiday home in Finland.Hana Ward drawing
