The teaching
This year Aidan Hart will be running a five-day icon workshop on May 9-13 and on September 19-23 at beautiful Walcot Hall in Lydbury North, Shropshire (SatNav SY7 8AU) (http://www.walcothall.com/).
In the May workshop we shall concentrate on the full figure, and in September on the face and hands, so that icon will be a bust (waist up). The cost
The cost for the teaching will be £470 (£392 plus 20% VAT), which includes lunch and refreshments. Accommodation is also available at Walcot Hall for a further £230.

THREE-YEAR PART-TIME ICON PAINTING PROGRAMME WITH THE PRINCE’S FOUNDATION SCHOOL OF TRADITIONAL ARTS
Applications are now open for the three-year part-time icon painting programme with the Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts.
The course begins 24 October 2022. Since demand is usually high, a selection process is used. Applications close 1 March.

This is a foundation course taught by Aidan Hart in Shrewsbury, UK. It consists of a total of 21 days teaching a year spread over six to seven sessions. It requires also about four hours a week additional icon painting at home.
